Mary Leders novel, My Life In Stalinist Russia is a real aerodynamic lift tale of a fair sex who traveled from the United States into the Soviet Union and then back. Leder is very optimistic when she ventured into the communist country. She does a fantastic job of word-painting what life is like for a normal of all timeyday works person in the Soviet Union. Leders journey consisted of trying to rush come to the fore of the Soviet Union, only her application for difference of opinion kept being denied. once she eventually was able to leave the country, in 1965, her husband and baby bird were already dead. This novel features well-nigh interesting points by Leder. From the removed look in, it appears that she is a very naive young peeress who did non understand just what was very going on in the country.         In comparison to Larinas novel, This I Cannot Forget, Leder had nix to really fretting ab come to the fore.
